Awareness, resources make travel easier for people who are disabled. It’s a real understatement to say people who have disabilities encounter challenges when they visit most travel attractions. Those with mobility issues encounter steep stairs and too-high displays. Those hard of hearing work to follow videos without captions and narrated tours without scripts. Those with vision loss can’t read key directional signage, not to mention exhibit posters.
