The beach at the resort are accessible for everybody and they even have å beach wheelchair for use. The beach wheelchair has larger tires and floating equipment so one person can get into the water. They do not yet, however, provide accessible docks or “swimming rigs” which allow disability visitors to swim freely and safely in the water.
At Sandals Barbados, guests can explore a wide array of international cuisines, such as Caribbean, Italian, French, sushi, Indian, a New York-style steakhouse, and more. Every restaurant has their own chef who are dedicated to the food and the wine they represent. All of the excellent restaurants are accessible with wheelchair.
Most of the hotel are easy accessible with a wheelchair. They have lifts and ramps almost everywhere. Three of the rooms are customized for wheelchair users, with wider clearance on doorways. . They also offers bathroom rails, lowered light switches & faucets, bathroom benches and more at the bathrooms.
